I thought I'd share a bit more news from sunny Istanbul... so to cut a very long story short...
During the time I was searching for Ella (who is doing great by the way!) I came across many cats and kittens needing food, water and assistance, particularly a two litter family in my garden, who I'm currently fostering.
Motivated by their need and the support of many people in the area, I created a Facebook group 'Cihangir... Cool for Cats'.
In memory of my beautiful cat Freddy who died a year ago, CCoC is raising funds to provide for needy street animals in the neighbourhood, implementing a neuter and release scheme, helping foster when necessary, and, as a positive spin off, we have already re-united two house cats with their owners!
